Accounting Specialist
Kelly Services is seeking an Accounting Specialist for a company located in Manitowoc, WI.
Duration:
6 months with possibility of permanent hire Pay Rate:
$17 - 20/hr Description of duties:
Support and back fill Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, and Cash Management activities Prepare internal and bank reporting requirements Support internal and external audit requests Lead the bank audit activities to meet deadlines Perform GL research of aging of various accounting items related to Accounts Receivable and Payables, and Cash Management Perform variance analysis over changes in cash management account balances and provide commentary daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Create and maintain detailed operational procedures, and system workflows for the Accounting Operations Team.
Manage documentation, reporting, and tracking of specific Accounting Operational tasks specific to Strategic Accounts Proactively contribute to developing, implementing, and managing projects throughout the project life cycle, including defining, designing, development, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases Perform other duties as assigned per department's needs and requirements Experience and
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, or equivalent year of education and/or experience New graduates; relevant internship or work experience in an office setting Interest in pursuing a long-term career in Accounting or Finance Self-starter who is curious, independently pursues knowledge, and is willing and able to learn quickly Must have strong focus on accuracy, attention to details, customer service, and maintaining high standards of integrity Must be open to taking on new responsibilities Possess capability to manage and prioritize multiple requests Possess Solid listening and note taking abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated leadership experience in working on a team; projects, sports, etc.
